Learn how to create a business based on your strengths, and your unique frequencies.
Why would you want to learn this? If your work feels heavy, boring, difficult or draining, you may as well go back to your 9-5 job right? Wouldn't you prefer to build a business where the work feels effortless? Like you're working in your zone of genius and hours pass by before you've realised? Join me for two interviews with Nikki Smith and Ellen Ercolini to find out how to create offerings based on your strengths, and completely transform the way you work and do business.
Learn how to choose the right products and services to create and deliver.
Why you need to know this? If you're overwhelmed with choice, can see the myriad of offerings other people have out there, and you're really not sure whether you should be running a an e-course, workshop, mastermind, book, training manual, a community forum or a combination of the above, this lesson is for you. There's a simple way of deciding which ones will be a best fit for you and your business.
Not sure whether you need this lesson? I have two free articles for you. The first has an interview that will show you how it IS possible to create a recurring income stream without an e-Course. The second article will help you decide which roles you want to take on, which ultimately helps you decide which products you should be delivering.
Learn how to recognise and plan for the 12 hallmarks of a quality learning experience.
Why do you need to know this? You may be a professional, a coach or an expert in your field but it doesn't necessarily mean that you feel confident as a teacher in adult learning environments. If you don't have teaching qualifications, and you're not REALLY sure how to pull off a learning experience that wows your clients, you'll want to feel confident knowing there's a framework to follow so your content will always have maximum impact.
Not sure whether the 12 Steps, or quality education standards really matter?
This article gives you a comprehensive overview of the 12 Steps, within the 4 PILLARS of a quality learning experience: the Foundations of Best Practice Teaching and Learning. Universities, colleges, educational facilities world wide base their courses on them and there's a very good reason why. They matter. Your clients matter, as do enuring their quality outcomes.
Learn how to get the most out of the FOUNDATIONS Level of this Library: the 4 PILLARS e-Course on Creating Quality Learning Experiences.
Why would you want to do that?
You don't need to do a full Bachelor of Education or expensive diplomas or certificates of training that are NOT targeted to you, as a busy professional. Those qualifications are intended for those who are teaching within a rigid, registered training framework like we have in the vocational training sector in Australia, so if you're not intending to register your training with the AQTF, there's little point in doing the qualifications. If you just need a quick crash course in adult learning, engage with Lesson 4, the Introductory Module of the next level of this Library, and decide whether you're ready for the next level of this Library: the FOUNDATIONS of Best Practice Teaching and Learning.
Not sure whether you really need a crash course in adult learning?
This article , the same as the one I recommend for the previous lesson, gives you a comprehensive overview of what it takes to make a quality learning experience. You know deep down whether you need this training - and it can all be done in less than a day's work! What do you have lose, apart from the stress worrying about whether you're really doing a good enough job?
Learn how to outsource or DIY the 5 stages of content development, so you can get your content online fast.
Why is it important to know which tasks to outsource?
There's a lot to think about when you're creating content and the last thing you want to do is waste time, energy and money on tasks that could be done more quickly and efficiently by a trained expert. When you outsource, you stay in your zone of genius and the whole process becomes much more enjoyable (and saves you hours of pulling your hair out). This tutorial and worksheet will help you decide whether to DIY OR OUTSOURCE WITH CONFIDENCE. This also includes the recording of a Live Expert Panel held in Perth, October 2016.
Learn how to choose the right delivery method, learning platform and technical requirements for getting your content online.
Why might this be important? If you've spent any time in the online space you'll know there are a myriad of options for how to deliver your content. If you are confused about whether you should be delivering your content via email, a facbeook group, an online teaching hub like Udemy or your own full membership site online, this lesson will help. Choose the wrong combination and you'll be wasting time, money and energy on a solution that you'll outgrow too quickly, or doesn't fit your current needs.
Not sure whether you need this lesson? Michelle Millichip, a web developer and I, take you through the what, who, where, when and how surrounding the delivery of your content, and we also have worksheets that will take you through all the questions you need to answer before you can choose the right combination of technical plug ins and platforms for your requirements. Check out this article, 'How to choose the right delivery platform for your training content' which summarises the areas we cover. If you'd like to see the success I've had using another platform 'Udemy', check out this article too: 'Get your signature program seen!'
Why would you want to listen to this interview?
If you're worried your content won't have an impact and you really want to make your mark in the world; be inspired by how two other professionals are doing it - using their strengths and living a life they've always dreamed of. Join us to hear how we create content that changes lives, and business that light us up.
Not sure this interview will be of much help? There are two main take-aways, which you'll learn about by having a quick read of this article. Here's a quote from Angela: " The topics we discuss in this wholehearted conversation are both relevant and hugely valuable if you want to be a catalyst for change – to help your clients to improve in any area of business or life. These core learning principles can be used in online courses, live workshops, coaching, training and more."
